Self-Defense techniques are designed to work on anyone, because any good technique is a harmony of physics and physiology. Many times when a technique doesn’t work, it normally is due to poor execution of some aspect of the technique. When working with a partner, try to provide realistic feedback as to the effectiveness of the technique (ie would their takedown really take you down, etc..) It is very important for a practitioner to know what aspects of his/her techniques work or don’t work so that they can find help in perfecting
